Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I don't check my mail on this site very often. All is well here, thanks for asking. Oro Valley, I remember it well. I was born and raised in Tucson. When I was growing up there, Oro valley was just a spot one drove thru on the way to or from Phoenix. Big changes there now. eh?
Sorry to say that I don't know your nephew, Mike. We're separated by the width of the Schenectady Airport and don't get to interact much.
The Vigi that we have at the museum is Bu No 156621. We obtained it from the USS Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in NYCity. It was then in the paint scheme of Heavy 3. I had it re-done in the scheme of Heavy 5 from the USS Ranger. Here's a photo of the aircraft in its Heavy 5 colors. Hope you approve.
I'd like to meet with you any time you get up this way, although Greenville is about 660 miles from Glenville, NY. You can "visit" the Museum at our website: www.esam.org to get a view of the aircraft on display and other parts of the museum. Our hours are also posted there.
Thanks for contacting me...hope to see you sometime.

Marvin,
You are correct in that I reside in Ohio not far from Jim Harm.
We got a little early Christmas snow with cold temperatures.
I remember you in "Happy Heavy 5".
Best Wishes.
Marshall
