You've got a good memory. If you're referring to the 1965 Buick Riviera GS that I bought in 1972 just out of A-School, I hung on to it for awhile. It was a real rust bucket and I decided to part it out. I made more money on it that way than what I paid for it. I think I got $550.00 for just the engine alone. But this car really never saw much road action after I bought it and it stayed at my folk's place in Pa. The car I drove regularly while I was in service was my blue 1972 Buick Skylark, aka GSX. I finally traded it in for a compact Dodge in 1980 when the gas crunch hit. Sure wish I'd hung onto it. As for Roger Bennett's 1971 Dodge Magnum GTX, I believe he still had it when he re-enlisted in 1976 and took it with him to his new duty station in Pensacola. He didn't have it though when I visited him and Al Lane down there in 1978 when I was on college break. Those were the good old days, when cars were mean, men were men, and women were afraid. Ha! Ha! Good hearin' from you bro.
"Hi jim, you and I along with Joe Wilkes hung around together off and on. I should have stayed in but couldn't think of a reason to go out to sea again? lol. I made contact with tim noland and steve manchook(photography). I'm a caregiver right now,…"
