  • Yes, Steve, I do. Not only that but I have my diary from my service years and I am writing my memoirs. RVAH-6 certainly were my most memorable years. It was a great command made up of great people.
  • Over the 1MC "bosun report with line to...." I left the forward berthing area under the mess deck and went to the shop..at least it was safe ;)
  • Hi Steve. Thank you. I remember you from Albany and the cruise on the Forrestal. I am not surprised that you made senior chief. I remember you as bright and hard working. My roommate on the ship was Rob Binder and he was the division officer for the AT's and AE's and I heard all about the good ones and the bad ones. I left the Navy in 1975, but stayed in the Reserves and retired as a Commander. Today I am a lawyer in Pensacola. Photography has always been one of my hobbies. I am glad some of the guys are putting together reunions and web sites so I can reconnect with some old friends. Chuck

"As an ATN2 Who spent a lot of time in that avionics bay, it was called the bath tub . I do  not remember any other nomenclature I remember it was very fragile and had many cracks and fractures with repairs. Probably caused by shifting "cargo":)"
