Thanks for the welcome. I was looking for an old shipmate when I found this site. John ' Woody' Woodring. I was wondering how far he got in life because he was always one of the squadron superstars.
I was an AT in Heavy Nine's radio shop from July 1957 to June 1960. Made Saratoga's first trip across the pond for Strikeback in 1957 and 2 Med cruises. Also shook down the Ranger & a detachment to the Forestall. After the navy, came back to NJ and a lifelong career in electronics. Stay well, shipmate.
