  Skipper:

  I joined RVAH-3 as an FRP fresh from NPS in Monterey and previous A-4 experience. I was not a volunteer by any means. Your strong leadership made a huge impression upon me and I went on to eventually command RVAH-9. I'll never forget the time you told the duty photographer " I know you, you're the guy that always takes pictures of my feet " and the time you forwarded LT Joe Satrapa's letter to the Chief of Naval Personnel. I hope you are well and enjoying retirement as I am.
