"Just found this group. I too was in Hvy 14 and exited in December of 1973. We got early outs if I remember correctly. Got "codded" off the deck while out sailing. I got back to San Francisco to be released on 12-20-73. When released, I was an AMH-3."

A few of us got to fly home early, before Christmas. We flew out of Athens a couple weeks before the rest of the squadron got home.
