yackie glad you got back. Your right I went to Thailand for about 9 months sailing a 47ft boat and diving the islands. that was after a stint of working in London and Wash. DC for the company guarding a Libyan diplomat that kaddafi was after. that was not a smart indeavour on my behalf. For a while I owned part of a manufacturing company in Canton, sold out, laid around for 3 yrs. then bought a tactor trailer out of boredom. blew my knee out and had to quit that. now I have a great wife, 3 daughters, 7 grandkids. they know little or nothing about the pickleman. Talked to Byrd a few yrs ago he was doing good in texas. give me your e mail I have something to send you mthat might be unappropiate for this site. Hey memory flash, Shore Patrol, in Sasabo! Remember that night?

I have not retired yet & still work and in fact very much enjoy what I do running operation, project manager, sales, service and you name it for a company in banking equipment business. Stated doing this in 1987 and before that own oil equipment distributorship, manufacture representative company & then before that operation manager for major independent oil company. Plus a few other businesses in between. Life been good even living in Illinois all these years, just don’t like the winters. Did Bob Hall ever get in touch with you?
Yes sire sure do recall Miesenhiemer, what was sad is on the Med cruise he send all that hair cut money to his wife & just before we pulled into Norfork he got a dear John letter. If you still have the cruse book from Med cruiuse find Rvah 7 page and you’ll see Thomas on top of a Vig working on letters. I ran across him at last reunion in June 2009 and he stayed in for 20+ years, also at reunion was Bob Hall & Dave Mackie. If you remember in Sanford Mackie & I had that white Barracuda with the big RVAH 7 squadron embalm on top. Those wear some good old days. Later Flynn
