That's right, when I looked at your photo I definitely remember. So how the heck you been after all these years. I went on to spend 22 years in the Navy , retired in 1994. Work now as a manager of the sys admin team at a mid size company here in St. Louis. Only for a few more years, I hope...lol. Great to hear from an old shipmate.
Thanks for the welcome Joe. However I should be welcoming you. I joined this/these group(s) about two years ago. I was in H-5 from '65 to'68. We were the last fleet squadron to leave Sanford. The squadron returned from a Viet Nam cruise on the Connie to Albany. I transferred on arrival so I was never stationed there. That ended my Vigilante days as I went to Kingsville TX to teach TA-4 avionics at NAMTRADET-1017 there. I Went on to A-7s after that. I live in goodole Millington TN now.
