  • I thought I remembered you so I got out my old cruise books - found you - 1975 to 1976 you were on board the USS INDY with RVAH-13. You were an AME1 at that time and I was an AQ3 in the ASB shop - hard to spend time on the flight deck with someone and not remember them.

Can't say that I actually remember you but your face looks familiar. Hope life has been good to you, though. Those were some good times back then.

  • Forgot you were in Lake City. My brother,s son works out at the airport there. This years Sanford get togather was not a crowd at all. Been keeping busy with grand and great grand kids. Plus paid the house off and then had to get a new roof, paid that off and the air went out, etc so have had my hands full. Do have a trip planned to Colorado next year for my 50 year class get togather. There was 22 in the class and 4 have passed.
  • Just how hard was it to dig up an old photo without any gray hair ?
  • Welcome aboard James.

I was a PC from '67 to '69 on the '68 WestPac cruise onboard Enterprise (the cruise BEFORE the fire)

Got my PC training in "3" in '67, straight out of ADJ "A" school!

Left "1" for "12" in mid '69 prior to relactdu.

"That was one that somebody took of me on the Forrestal on the "Fire" cruise. That's why I wasn't smiling. How are you doing, Ron. We haven't spoken since the reunion in Sanford several years ago.
Jim"
