The Castle Air Museum in Atwater, CA. is recovering and will be performing restoration work on an RA-5C Vigilante from a California desert location. Aircraft 156615 was based on USS Ranger in 1979, and made the last ever trap aboard Ranger in August 1979. The museum is seeking donations to help defray the cost of transport and restoration of this rare and magnificent aircraft. Please make sure that you put RA-5 Vigilante on your check.
