HELLO SCOTT. I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO OUR OLDEST SON, ROBERT, AND I ASK HIM IF HE KNEW YOU. HE ASK; HOW OLD ARE YOU , WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL, AND DID YOU LIVE ON BASE AT ALBANY??? BOB WILL BE 59 THIS YEAR AND HE WENT TO DOUGHERTY HIGH SCHOOL AND PLAYED IN THE BAND.I AM VERY MUCH AWEAR OF WHAT YOUR FAMILY IS GOING THOURGH WITH YOUR DAD BECAUSE MY DAD HAD IT FOR THE LAST SIX YEARS OF HIS LIFE. GOD BLESS!
HELLO SCOTT.YOUR DAD'S NAME SOUNDS FAMILIAR, BUT I'M NOT SURE.IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE GA. I WAS IN AIMD AT ALBANY FROM 1968-70. THEN I WENT TO RVAH-6 FROM 1970-72.
Welcome. I was in both H-3 and H-13 in the late 1960's, but never met your father. I do want to welcome you here. I was enlisted, but still get a thrill looking back at my time working with such a high performance plane. Flying one had to be a challenge, but a real kick.
My Mother-in-Law had Alzheimers and we took care of her as long as we could. It is tough on the family and none of us will ever have any idea how the affected person might actually feel. I wish your father, yourself and your family the best.
"Hello Alton. Great Vigi photo. I saw you were stationed at NAS Albany GA. Did you know my dad, Capt. Dean E. Webster? He flew Vigilante's in RVAH 13, RVAH 3, & was Wing Commander while at NAS Albany."
