While I do not recall the name Gary Matthew, that does not mean I would not recognize him if I saw a 1969-70 photo; same goes for you! Your recent photo looks sort of familiar, but my recall only lasted as long as the cruise! :) Do you ever hear from Hanson? It would be great if you or I could get him a copy of the photo I have with him in it.
Hey Ron, you are correct! That was Hanson in the photo! I could never pull his name, though it was in my brain, securely locked away I suppose, and all these years later....
you supply the missing information. Thanks a lot Ron!
Hey Ron! That is great that we were both aboard the AMERICA at the same time! This site sure brings back a lot of memories. So, you are a Grandpa! That is a great fraternity for sure. I am a Great Grandpa myself, and I will post a few photos on my page when I get the chance. You take care, and please add me to your friends list if you will. The more the merrier! Thank you,
Got your message and photos. Good looking family. I had 3 daughters, with my youngest just getting married mid-September. Being a Grandpa is the greatest thing ever. The Naval Air Museum is awesome. The first RVAH-12 reunion was held there. At the time there was 12 people that I knew.
Hi Ron, It has been a whole year since I have been back here. These sites such as Facebook are hard for us old guys to understand. I take way too many pills. I am sure all that clean living was a big part of it. Do you know what ever happened to Greg Kabay? Take care of your self.
