Yep we need squadron supply for all those parts & stuff we needed to keep those birds flying. If I ever get down that way will let you know, I do go down to Pensacola for Blue Angles home coming in November – welcome aboard.
From the looks of the years of your service we were in heavy 7 together on the west pack cruise on Enterprise ( 66/67). I have lost contact with a friend Jim McGhee who also worked in supply. My nickname at the time obie and worked in the check crew in the hanger deck. Like you I am starting to remember the times in my life that are important o me. I had my grandson looking at the cruise book from Enterprise just the last few months when he was here.

I knew a Jim McGhee when I worked in Isfahan, Iran! His son, Bobby Thoman worked for me. Last I knew, the family lived in Georgia.
