God Bless you if you born in 1923 ! Great that you did the Air Force job , We NAVY guys respect all service branches as we are all brothers ! I myself was on maybe as many Air Force Bases as Navy ! I caught carriers out of Alameda [ San Fran ] ,San Diego , Norfolk , & Jacksonville ! Did cruises , west pacific 2 times & med 1 time In 4 years ! Never mind the up & down the east & west coast practice runs on sometimes different ships ! Five carriers in all ! I was born in western Mass twenty after you but who is counting. ! Take care !
