1. Yes, I came into squadron from book camp as a PN striker. Ended up spending 24 yrs active duty transferring to fleet reserve as a PNCS. Spent my last 17 years as USNR-TAR. Enjoyed my career and all the friends I made.

Welcome aboard John. I see you where with the squadron for the '68 WestPac on Enterprise and the '69 Med on Sara. I missed that one but made the Carrier Quals prior to being transfered to Twelve.

I joined RVAH-1 in December of 1967 and stayed in this Squadron until December of 1970 when I was sent back to Treasure Island for my separation in January of 1971. Looking back I have a lot of memories of my time in the Navy.
