WOW.....what has it been 32 years? I think the last time I saw you was in Patuxent River in 1980.
I moved back to Central Florida when I got out of the Navy in Nov-1980. Went to college got a degree in Finance. Have been working for the same company for 30 years. 4 years as an electronics technician (Thanks USN) and 26 years as a Financial Analyst. Married with no children so I am able to retire in the next few years if stock market will cooperate.
I just found this web site yesterday while at work so I am learning my way around. Love the pictures you posted. Brought back a lot of good memories. I have a horrible memory for names and faces, at least a few I remember with the help of pictures.
Key West was some good times. I have not been back since I left. Do not know why I am only 400 miles away. I just know it will not be like what it was when we were young and naive.

"I knew Les had passed away. I stay in contact with a few of the guys from the squadron, mostly thru Facebook. Byerly, Mayfield, Price, Rustman, Grube and such. There's a RVAH-7 group there also."
"I worked with John Mehan and was suppose to be in that photo, as we were all part of an advance work party together and missed the photo taking they did on the way over to the Phillipines. I was glad you enjoyed the photo."
"First, how's it going. Second, we were on the Kitty Hawk in 79 and the Ranger in 79.
Third, a bunch of the guys from that time period will be in Pensacola this weekend. I had finals, so I can't make it. Rustman, Byerly, Foote and a host of…"
Your name sounded familiar, but couldn't place you. I was in RVAH-7 from '76 - '79 in ASB. I'm inquiring because I grew up near Brady Lake and worked in Streetsboro for two summers as a lifeguard at Valleyview Lake Park on Ferguson Road. …"
"Thanks for the offer of assistance. I thinking of posting a few photos that I have. I was with Heavy 7 from '76 to '79. Left right before the final decomm. Did 2 Westpacs, Kitty Hawk in '78 & Ranger in '79. I left there as an AQ2 working in…"
