I've searched to find this shipmate several years ago, after i retired. Along with the other mates I could remember. I had found a photo of us that was used, I think, in the 1967 USS America Mediterranean Cruise book. Last night I saw his name here and found he had posted it on his page.
Today I discovered, with much sorrow, his passing only a few months ago.
