I did look for the gas station on Sugarloaf Key and of course it's no longer in business. Couldn't find Ernies not sure what happened to it.
As for retirement same thing happened to me but I was already hinting that I was ready so I took the layoff with the merger. I was bought and sold so many times over the last 30 years, luckily I stayed in the same office. I can't complain
