William Richard Kleckner, born July 10, 1956, died October 15, 2023.
He preferred to be known as Bill or Willie at various times in his life.
Bill was a Navy veteran who enjoyed gardening, coin collecting, hunting and martial arts until health prevented participation in those activities. His family rejoices that he was able to participate in a small family reunion in May of this year.
Survived by siblings Robert Kleckner (MaryKay Austin), Janet Kleckner (Eben McNair) and John Kleckner; by nieces and nephews Wendy Kleckner, John Kleckner, Jr. (Eva), Nathan Kleckner (Heather), Matthew Kleckner, Eben McNair, and Laura Laster (Scott), and by great nieces and nephews Alayna Kleckner, Dalton Kleckner, Mason Kleckner, Sadie Kleckner, Devon Laster, Margot Laster and Marshall Laster. Predeceased by father Henry Kleckner, mother Dorothy Kleckner, younger brother Eric Kleckner and sister-in-law Brenda Lee Simmons.
Bill will be interred at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on October 25, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Guests should arrive at the cemetery gates at 8:30am for procession to the shelter for the service.
