"On 1/18/2022 we lost Thomas Stancik Sr. who served in the Navy from 1968-1971 aboard the USS Ranger. RVAH-1 He was discharged in 1971 after sustaining a gun shot wound in Albany, GA. He went on to get his Masters in Social Work and was the director of the VET Center in Scranton, Pa counseling combat veterans, he moved on and worked for the Baypines VA hospital for over 20 yrs doing the same thing he loved counseling combat veterans, He was preceeded in death by his wife Mary of 43yrs. He enjoyed his hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. if you served with him, can you please let me know. I would love to hear from you."

Thomas Willam Stancik Sr., age 73, of Seminole, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Thomas was born June 12, 1948 in Wilkes Barre, PA.
