Calvin's son Jim posted on facebook: June 1, 2016 AK1 Calvin L. Stokley USN / Ret, stationed with RVAH 14, NAS Albany Ga. 1972 - 1974 passed away. He was always extremely proud that he had served with Heavy 14.

Born on June 16, 1938, Calvin Lee Stokley (USN, ret.) left on his final deployment on June 1, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, from Silas, Alabama; three children: Jim Stokley (Dawn), Brenda Love (Timothy) and Linda Byrd (Richard); seven grandchildren: Michael Stokley (Ruth), Heather Love, Tiffany Andrews (Brad), Timothy Love, Alison Stokley, Kimberly Fredrick, and Elizabeth Byrd; and three great-grandchildren: Clayton Michael, Olivia Jean-Marie, and Philip Calvin Stokley. He is also survived by his brother Curtis (Doris), his sister Maxine, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calvin reunited with his parents, Jim and Mable Stokley; his siblings, Louise and Earl Gene Stokley; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Esther Waite; his brothers-in-law, Findley Fox, Carl Waite, Therman Waite, and William West; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn West. Fair winds and following seas.
