Eddie H. LeFiles February 5, 1938 – August 20, 2020
Eddie H. LeFiles Jr., age 82, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Eddie was born February 5, 1938 in Tifton, Georgia to Eddie Harley LeFiles Sr. and Hazel Mac Boseman. He was an Aviation Electrician’s Mate while he served as Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Business Management. Eddie also worked in Civil Service and retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) in 1991. He was a member and involved with the USS Forrestal Association, Knights of Columbus Council 8450, Deluna Council Assembly 4th Degree Assembly 156, Disabled American Veterans Organization and Boy Scouts of America Troop 676.
Eddie was a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather who greatly loved his family and loyal puppy, Trixie. He had a passion for electronics and computer/network engineering and he was an International Ham Radio enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Harley LeFiles Sr., Hazel Mac Boseman; brother, George LeFiles; sisters, Carol Bobe, and Sylvia Frey.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Josephine Kane LeFiles; son, Jeffery LeFiles; daughters, Deborah Dixon, Sharon Hoyle, Jennifer Gregory; brother, JLee LeFiles of Laughlin, NV; eight grandchildren; and one great grandson.

Visitation for Eddie will be held from 9:00 am - 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 am at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
